Astromillion support page
Thank you for downloading Astromillion on iTunes. Astromillion generates a random sequence of numbers based on your astrological sign, to be transferred to a bulletin of Lotto or Euro Millions. This page explains the functionalities of the application, and gives you the ability to report bugs or ask questions.
At first launch of Astromillion the sign and the ascendant of the player are blank. They are optional. To inform them, click the sign button at the top of the screen.
If you do not know your ascendant, leave it blank. The ascendant is calculated based on the date, time and geographical location of birth. Many sites allow you to calculate your ascendant, as Caretaking the Soul.
The home screen offers a choice between french Lotto and Euro Millions. French Lotto is useless out of France. EuroMillions is an european lottery, with 5 numbers drawn randomly from 50 and 2 stars drawn out of 11.
The numbers calculated on the first row of results when you press the button "Play" correspond to a simple game. At left are the numbers for the main grid, at right those for the secondary grid.
The numbers on the second line of results are for a multiple bulletin. You can play up to 10 numbers and 11 stars on a multiple bulletin of EuroMillions.
For example if you want to play a multiple bulletin of EuroMillions with 7 numbers in the main grid and 3 numbers in the secondary grid, play the numbers of the first line of results and the first 2 numbers at the left and the first number at the right of the second line.
You can also find out your chances of winning depending on your bet, using the probabilities view. To do this, press the "Proba" button at the top right of the screen. Two sliders allow you to select the number of wagered numbers in the main grid and in the secondary grid.
When the value "n.s." is displayed instead of a probability, it means that the calculation is not significant. Indeed, a probability can not be greater than 1 chance in 1. A chance out of one is a certainty, when, for example you bet all the stars in a multiple bulletin of Euromillions, you have 1 chance in 1 to have the right number. Now suppose you bet 7 numbers in the main grid of EuroMillions. This equates to play 21 single bulletins, that is why the price of a multiple entry through 7 numbers in the main grid and two stars in the secondary grid is 21 times higher than a simple bulletin.
The probability of having two good numbers in a simple bulletin of EuroMillions is 1 out of 14.93. With a multiple bulletin with 7 numbers played in the main grid, it would be 1 chance out of 0.71, which is impossible. And commute 0.71 into 1 would be wrong because there is no certainty of winning 2 numbers with a multiple bulletin of 7 numbers. Thus the application displays n.s. value in such a case.

Now good play and especially good luck!
